ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM  Funding is available to help with the cost to heat your home.  If you reside in Pope, Travers, Stevens, Grant, Douglas, Clay, or Wilkin counties contact West Central MN Communities Action Agency at 1-800-492-4805 for an application.  Funding is also available for furnace repairs or replacements for homeowners.  You may be also eligible for the Weatherization Program.  This program is funded by the MN Dept. of Commerce and the US Dept. of Health & Human Services.

WOMEN OF FAITH REVISITED will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2900 N Broadway, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..  Listen to heart-felt messages by nationally known speakers. Ticket cost is $15 until January 22, $20 after; includes lunch, beverages and snacks throughout the day.  Registration required; call church office at (701)235-6629.  Childcare is available (ages 2 and up) upon request by January 13.

FIRST ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER presented by Holy Cross & Blessed Sacrament Churches of West Fargo will be Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 12 noon – 4 p.m.  $5/plate.  There will also be a cake walk and raffle.  Proceeds benefit the JPII Catholic Schools.

LUNCH WITH PATRICK COFFIN is Thursday, February 2, at Sts. Anne & Joachim Church, 5202 25th St S., Fargo.  Coffin is the host of national radio show, Catholic Answers LIVE.  He will speak on the Gospel of Suffering and share his personal story of the death of his daughter in 2006.  Cost is $15/person.  Registration deadline is January 23. ADVENTURES IN I CORINTHIANS
Saturday, February 4, 2012, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fargo, will host Thomas Smith presenting the seminar, “Adventures in First Corinthians.” We will learn about Christ as the Head of the Body, How we are a Body FOR the Lord and the Body OF the Lord, The Body’s Hands and Heart, and The New Body to Come.
